The White Screen of Death is one of the most common WordPress bugs. It is usually caused by a faulty plugin, an incompatible theme or a PHP memory limit being reached. While waiting for our intervention, you can try disabling your plugins via FTP by renaming the wp-content/plugins folder. But the simplest approach is to open a ticket with us: we diagnose the cause for free and restore your site quickly.

We also optimise your store's performance to handle high traffic without slowing down.

This is one of the most frequent requests we get. The usual causes are a security plugin that blocked your IP address, a domain change not carried over into the WordPress settings, a PHP error that breaks wp-admin without touching the public site, or an administrator account removed by an extension. FTP access or hosting access is enough for us to take back control: your administrator password is not required to start the diagnosis.

WordPress sends its messages through the PHP mail() function, which hosts and mailbox providers filter more and more. WooCommerce order confirmations and form submissions then vanish, without a single error message on screen. We move your sending to authenticated SMTP, set the SPF, DKIM and DMARC records on your domain, then verify actual delivery to the main mailbox providers.

The editor spinning forever, the page coming back empty after saving, the submenu disappearing: these symptoms almost always come from a server limit being reached, PHP memory, max_input_vars or execution time, or from a conflict with another extension. Your pages remain stored in the database meanwhile. We identify the limit or the extension at fault and restore editing without rebuilding your layout.

A theme or an extension that has not kept up throws a fatal error as soon as you switch. It sometimes shows on the whole site, sometimes only at checkout, which makes it hard to spot on your own. We test your installation for compatibility before changing version, update or replace whatever blocks, then switch. We cover PHP 7.4 to 8.3.
