PrestaShop repair: your store has a bug, we fix it

Is your PrestaShop store down, or not working the way it used to? PrestaShop repair has been our job since 2017. We read the server logs, the modules and whatever changed recently, we trace the fault back to its origin and we fix it.

What is your request about?

How it works

From your message to a repaired store, in five steps

You describe what you see, we do the rest. Here is exactly what happens after your message, and what it costs you.

Describe my situation
Free quote A quarter of an hour to assess and price it. You approve it, or not.
1 hour free The first hour of work, for every new customer.
  1. Your access

We take your access details and start looking

Based on what you described in the ticket, we log into the store and read what happened. If a detail is missing, we call you. Your access details are used for the duration of the job only: they are not kept on our servers beyond it, and they are deleted automatically from our database once the ticket is closed.

  2. The diagnosis

The problem is identified, the estimate goes out

Thanks to your logs and to what you told us, we know where the fault comes from. We have the fix in mind and an idea of how long it will take. You receive the estimate.

  3. The offer

    First hour free

If this is your first ticket and the quote fits in one hour, the job is simply free. You judge the quality of our work without paying anything. If the quote is longer than an hour, the first hour is taken off the price. Always worth having.*

  4. The fix

You approve, we fix it cleanly

The work starts straight away on what our research showed. We fix things the cleanest way: upstream when possible, through an override rather than in the PrestaShop core, and directly in the code only when there is no other choice. We check our work, then you confirm everything runs before the ticket is closed.

  5. The report

    You receive an intervention report

When the ticket is closed, you get a report: where the fault came from, what was changed and where, what to keep an eye on. You can understand what happened and explain it to whoever needs to know, your partner, your agency or your host, without calling us back.

* Offer reserved for new customers, on their first job.

What holds you back

Three normal doubts, and our answers

Handing over your access details, knowing whether it will work, calling a company you do not know. Every customer asked themselves these three questions before their first ticket. Here is what reassured them.

Doubt 1 "Do I have to give you my access details?"

Yes, that is what makes the work possible, and it is under control. Your access details are used for the duration of the ticket only, they are not kept beyond it and are deleted automatically from our database when it is closed. Before the first change, files and database are backed up, so the store as you handed it to us can be restored at any time.

Backup before we touch anything Access deleted at closure

Doubt 2 "What if you cannot fix it?"

It has never happened yet, and if it did, you would pay nothing. What lets us write that: 3 413 PrestaShop bugs fixed since 2017, on 814 stores. Most are small jobs, sorted within a few hours. A store that is offline or a blocked payment goes ahead of everything else, and service is restored within the following hours. And the price you approve is fixed, whatever the actual duration of the job.

Not fixed, not billed Emergencies restored within hours Approved price, never exceeded

Doubt 3 "We do not know you."

Since 2017, more than 2 608 customers have trusted us with their site, and 290 of them left a Google review, at 4.9 out of 5. A real phone number, 01 84 20 89 46, where someone picks up Monday to Friday, 9 am to 6 pm Paris time. And to judge on the work itself without any risk, the first hour is free.

Is your store in one of these cases?

Describe it in two lines, with what you see on screen. We call you back within ten minutes, the quote costs you nothing, and your first hour is free.

Every version

PrestaShop repair from 1.3 to 9: each branch has its own quirks

Some of our customers never took the step of updating, others run the very latest version. We repair both, and the approach is not the same. Tell us yours if you know it, it shows in the footer of your back office, and we can find it without you too.

  1. 1.3 2010 PHP 5.1 to 5.4 No longer maintained Rare, but we have repaired some.
  2. 1.4 2011 PHP 5.1 to 5.4 No longer maintained Frozen stores, period hosting to preserve.
  3. 1.5 2012 PHP 5.2 to 5.6 No longer maintained Modules nowhere to be found, we fix what is there.
  4. 1.6 2014 PHP 5.2 to 7.1 Unmaintained since 2019 Still very common. Falls over when the host removes its PHP.
  5. 1.7 2016 PHP 5.6 to 7.4 Unmaintained since 9 Half-ported 1.6 modules, themes broken by minor updates.
  6. 8 2022 PHP 7.2 to 8.1 Security only since 2025 PHP 8 removed functions some modules still used.
  7. 9 2025 PHP 8.1 to 8.4 Current version New product page, old modules lost, interrupted migrations.

Your store is not up to date

Whatever the reason, it is your choice and we respect it. We fix the fault by the rules of your version, with the practices of its time, without breaking anything around it. We will probably recommend an update once the fix is done, with what it would bring and what it would cost. The decision stays yours.

Your store runs 8 or 9

Your PrestaShop is recent. We follow the latest versions closely, and their move towards Symfony, and we know what they changed and what they removed. We bring the fix that matches your fault, within the current architecture, with no patch from another era.

Questions we get asked about PrestaShop repair

Nothing that touches the files. Do not restore a backup, do not relaunch an update, do not uninstall modules blindly. Note the time it started and what was done just before, even if it seems unrelated. We then read the server error log, which says exactly which line breaks.

Sometimes, yes. When the payment return to the store fails, the bank has taken the money and PrestaShop has not created the order. We cross-check the payment provider transactions with the orders, hand you the list of payments without an order, and repair the return before reopening.

Rarely in the first place. We first measure what the store does to display a page: number of queries, modules called, cache on or off, image weight. In most cases one or two modules explain most of it. We only advise changing hosting after that measurement, with the figures to back it.

That is the normal case. The server logs, file modification dates and module history tell what changed on the store, and when, without you having to remember anything. Describe what you see, the rest is our job.

We do not set a price before looking. The quote is free: we take a quarter of an hour to assess the fault and price it, then we tell you an amount that you approve, or not. That amount is fixed, a job that runs longer than expected changes nothing on your invoice. If this is your first job with us, the first hour is free, that is 69 € excl. VAT off the quote.

Yes, and it is a large part of our daily work. PrestaShop no longer maintains them, we keep repairing them, down to the 1.4 and 1.5 we still come across from time to time. We repair the version you have, without forcing a migration. We do tell you what lies ahead: a PHP version your host will remove, a module that will never get an update. The decision to migrate stays yours.

It is common on PrestaShop, where many paid modules live at the pace of their licence. Depending on the case, we fix it ourselves to make it compatible, we replace it with a maintained module that does the same job, or we remove the feature if nobody uses it any more. The choice is yours, priced, before the slightest change.

For a repair, yes. A 500 error or a failing payment reproduce poorly on a copy, and every hour offline costs sales. Files and database are backed up before the first change. For a version upgrade, on the other hand, the work is done on a staging copy and you see the result before switching.

Password refused, invalid token, page reloading in a loop or admin address returning 404: these are four different faults, and none of them requires reinstalling anything. With access to the server or the database, we restore access without touching the store itself.

Do not delete anything: the infected files tell where it came in, and we need them. Cleaning a hacked store is a separate job, with its own method, described on the page malware removal and hacked website. You can also write to us directly here, we will take you there.

Not before we have looked. Rolling back reopens the vulnerabilities the update closed, and an interrupted migration leaves the database in an intermediate state that must not be overwritten. The whole case is covered on website broken after an update.

Yes, and it is often the follow-up to a repair on a 1.6 or a 1.7 that has reached the end of the road. We start by getting the store selling again, then we propose the migration separately, with a firm price.

Absolutely fantastic! My PrestaShop site was seriously buggy, and we were really struggling to work (we use it as our physical cash register). Between the initial contact and the final resolution, it only took a few hours. The bug was persistent, but they were just as persistent and ultimately got it fixed very quickly. Honestly, I don't regret spending the money at all; the price was more than reasonable and well-deserved. They were incredibly efficient, and they even took the time to explain the bug to me at the end. I'll definitely be back. It's reassuring to have professionals "on hand" for any issues or development projects, because PrestaShop is our work tool! And of course, I highly recommend this team!

This is a fantastic team of PrestaShop experts. You can find many programmers, but true experts are few. Their team is exactly like that, and you definitely won’t go wrong if you trust them to solve problems or upgrade your website.
